BIOGRAPHY

I am basically a self-taught professional artist, craftswoman and clothing designer as well as an instructor in the arts field. Working with various media, including silk, leather, pastels, colored pencils and other found objects. For me, there is a certain presence in the work of fine craftsmanship, regardless of the medium, especially when the craft interacts with fine materials, brilliant color and inspiration. My philosophical commitment is to adorn the human body in the most celebratory of ways and to simultaneously honor the inner beauty of the human spirit and soul through movement, fluidity, and evocative patterns and motifs from art and nature. Celebrating  the human body through art is a high value in my artistic life. Light, color, beauty and pleasure are the ingredients of my work. Creativity is the stuff of lifeGOALS:

To teach adults and children the art of creativity, including the use of media to further their career in the field. To provide a role model for young people who are interested in a career in the art and design field.
